Dealing with a fear of flying is sometimes known as a phobia. A phobia can be the cause of a great deal of stress; not to mention the shame that sometimes goes along with phobias. Phobias are when a person is dealing with daily moments, an activity, or a noun, like a dog, that causes someone to have a negative reaction without any reason. Negative reactions can be from feeling very nervous to having a sheer terrifying panic attack out of nowhere that can sometimes make no sense to those around us.
Fear of flying is one such phobia that thankfully can be dealt with in a positive way using various behavioral techniques and sometimes anxiety therapy such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.) that have supported individuals with a fear of flying to be able to fly again without having negative adverse reactions.
